Baby Reborn Dolls

Typically a Baby Reborn Doll is a readymade doll that has been painstakingly converted to look like a lifelike human baby. Reborners (artists specializing in Reborn Doll conversions) spend days and hours creating these realistic “babies”. Depending on level of skill used, they range in price from hundreds to thousands of dollars, and there is an avid baby Reborn Community that meet all over the world.

Infact the art has its own international group: The International Reborn Doll Artists. Known by the acronym IRDA, the groups allows artists to join, but enforces a series of guidelines and code of ethics for continued membership.

Baby Reborn collectors consider their “babies” very seriously and a lot of care is given to the dolls.
